Subjective Assessment Experiments That Recruit Few Observers With Repetitions (FOWR)

چکیده

Recent studies have shown that it is possible to characterize subject bias and variance in subjective assessment tests. Apparent differences among subjects can, for the most part, be explained by random factors. Building on theory, we propose a test design where four six team members each rate stimuli multiple times. The results are comparable high performing objective metric. This provides quick simple way analyze new technologies perform pre-tests assessment.

Few-nucleon scattering experiments at intermediate energies

Observables in few-nucleon scattering processes are sensitive probes to study the two and manybody interactions between nucleons in nuclei. In the past decades, several facilities provided a large data base to study in detail the few-nucleon interactions below the pion-production threshold by exploiting polarized proton and deuteron beams and large-acceptance detectors. In this contribution, so...

Subjective assessment of HDTV with superresolution function

Super Resolution (SR) has become common, and some recent HDTV sets and digital cameras are equipped with it. SR is a sales point of commercial products. However, the resolution of HDTV sets equipped with an SR function has not been tested as to whether it is actually better than those of HDTV sets without the function, in part because the resolution difference between HDTV sets is not always cl...

Computational Experiments for the Problem of Hamiltonian Path with Fixed Number of Color Repetitions

In this paper we consider an approach to solve the problem of Hamiltonian path with fixed number of color repetitions for arc-colored digraphs. Our approach is based on usage of local search algorithms to solve a logical model for the problem. PACS: 07.05.Fb, 07.05.Dz

Differential BOLD activity associated with subjective and objective reports during "blindsight" in normal observers.

The study of conscious visual perception invariably necessitates some means of report. Report can be either subjective, i.e., an introspective evaluation of conscious experience, or objective, i.e., a forced-choice discrimination regarding different stimulus states. However, the link between report type and fMRI-BOLD signals has remained unknown. Here we used continuous flash suppression to ren...

Counting Fiedler pencils with repetitions

We introduce a new notation based on diagrams to deal with Fiedler pencils with repetitions (FPR), and use it to solve several counting problems. In particular, we give explicit recurrences to count the number of FPRs of a given degree d, the number of symmetric, palindromic and antipalindromic ones (where the latter two structures are intended in the sense of [5]). We relate these structures t...
